TOMRA Partners with TECHNIA for Strategic Implementation of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
TECHNIA, the #1 PLM knowledge leader, announced today that they have entered into a strategic partnership with TOMRA Sorting Solutions - an international provider of technology-led solutions that enable the circular economy. Their advanced sorting systems optimise resource recovery and minimise waste in the food, recycling and mining industries.
This partnership willleverage digital applications, processes and systems integration expertise to enable TOMRA Sorting Solutions to achieve increased data accuracy and efficiency under the program named, “The Source”. The program consists of multiple projects that will optimise output from part design processes to other enterprise systems and allow the organisation to leverage a single data repository. TOMRA is restructuring digital engagement with their customers to share plant layout concepts in a connected, 3D journey.
TECHNIA will deliver a Product Lifecycle Management solution across 8 global sites. The PLM solution is based on Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform and supported by TECHNIA Software and Services to deliver a unified business platform. TOMRA’s vision of “The Source,” as a platform to provide sustainable design and manufacturing efficiency from product ideation to recyclability, is in direct alignment with TECHNIA principles. And will be achieved with support from expert TECHNIA Industrial Equipment consultancy, software and services across the globe.
