Scanscot Technology Joins TECHNIA

TECHNIA, the #1 knowledge leader in PLM and Engineering, today announced that they have acquired Scanscot Technology AB - a Nordic leader in advanced simulation - based in Lund and Gothenburg, Sweden. Scanscot Technology will become part of the TECHNIA Nordic and Benelux Division, covering all Nordic regions and work globally to strengthen TECHNIA’s Simulation Centre of Excellence.

Scanscot Technology is the leading Nordic reseller of SIMULIA, the simulation software portfolio from Dassault Systemés. The company has also developed BRIGADE - an Abaqus/SIMULIA-based standalone software suite for simulation of bridges and civil infrastructure. Scanscot brings extensive knowledge and experience of advanced simulation services to a wide range of industries such as Civil Infrastructure, Big Science, and Nuclear.

The newly enriched TECHNIA Simulation Centre of Excellence will provide 3DEXPERIENCE global customers with access to world-leading delivery capacity and expertise. In addition, the recent extension of TECHNIA’s portfolio to include Dassault Systèmes’ SOLIDWORKS enabling TECHNIA to provide focused expertise and support for SIMULIAworks.
